PROJECT GOALS

The goals of the project were to create a solution media solution for the IT Streaming Media Department. By using Windows media encoder 9, the newest streaming, encoding software and hardware, we were able to do this. This then allowed divisions within Microsoft to stream a meeting anywhere in the world with a 15-25sec delay. They also were able to have the meeting available in an "On-Demand" format, for later viewings.

 

SOLUTION

Capturing the meeting live with a high-end video camera, a custom built encoder with Osprey cards and Windows Media Encoder 9. The video is instantly encoded and pushed to a server. Users can log on to a pre-assigned site and watch the meeting in Windows Media Player. The event is recorded as well for a VOD format, available a few days after the event.

PROJECT GOALS

Increase both clubs attendance, while creating a new visual style, mood and overall branding for the club. Belltown’s main focus was to use television, flyers and cards as the selected media to do this.

SOLUTION

Television Commercials
Create simple 30sec commercial timeslots that would allow the clubs to promote specific events. But helping Belltown purchase media time on the TV they where able to first keep costs down by stay with in 3 local areas, and by purchasing larger amounts of time slots, help keep costs down.


Flyers
Using flyers and cards to promote upcoming events was a simple way to help the clubs stand out from other loco clubs. Each design was customized to fit the new look and feel the clubs had to offer. For Belltown Billiards it was more reds and blacks with a more Top 40's hip hop feel. For Club Lagoon, a more earthy, cool "New 80's" Retro feel was needed to help driving in an older range of customers.

PROJECT GOALS

Increase customer satifaction and confidence in the school, and the number of students signing up for the additional classess they offer.

SOLUTION

Web Video
Using on of Focus Media's core products, the Web Intro, a 3min video was created to show the "Skid-monster" training course that the school offered. A second was created to teach students how to identify hazards on the road by looking ahead.
